Sorry, there are NO refunds due to the limited space availability in classes, however, a rain check will be honored or transferable.

Raincheck or transferable:  If you are unable to make it to your assigned class due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to move you to a different class within the following week. Please give us adequate notice beforehand so we can make room for you in another class, and give someone else the opportunity to take your reservation. Our classes fill up quickly!

If a class size is 2 or fewer participants, the class will be canceled 2 hours before the class starts and you will have a rain check issued for a future makeup class within the following week.

The weather is very unpredictable at all times in Hawaii. We determine right before class if the class needs to be canceled due to bad weather. If the class is canceled due to bad weather before or during a class, no refunds. A rain check will be honored or is transferable.

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat to Maui Goat Yoga Classes or Events?
Yes, you can bring your own mat to class. We also rent mats with a mat towel to help you stay cool for $5 cash per person. Paid at time of arrival

What else should I bring to class?
We recommend sunscreen (just in case, this is an outdoor event with no shade yet), water, hat, and camera so you don’t miss out on funny moments!

What breed of goats do you have?
Our goats are Nigerian Dwarf Goats. The babies can weigh between 5 to 30 pound and adults can weigh between 30 to 70 pounds. They have all been hand raised from birth.

How long is the Maui Goat class or event?
The Maui Goat Yoga class is 45 minutes and is followed by 30 minutes of Maui Goat Happy Hour. Student Maui Goat Yoga classes and Kids Maui Goat Yoga classes are 30 minutes of Yoga and 30 minutes of Maui Goat Happy Hour.

Is Maui Goat Yoga a form or method of Animal Assisted Therapy?
Yes. Maui Goat Yoga’s focus is to combine goats, nature and yoga in order to disconnect with the day to day stresses that life can bring. The combination of goats, nature and yoga is very therapeutic and is a happy distraction from whatever you may be going through, whether that be depression, stress, disease, disabilities or anything. Or maybe all you need is to come, relax, be around nature and goats and enjoy the view. This is ok too.

Will there be media at the event or class?
There are times when the media will come out to film an event. To attend each event or class you are required to sign a media release form. You are under no obligation to be filmed or photographed. Please be sure to make us aware if you do not wish to be filmed or photographed.

Do you force the goats to participate?
No. The goats are not forced to stand on your back or do tricks. Our classes are not a required performance for our goats. The goats sincerely just prefer to be by humans and all they really want is to be loved and petted.

Do the goats poop on you?
Goats poop small pellets. Occasionally they can poop on your mat. All you have to do is shake it off your mat. It doesn’t happen all that often. However, it does happen. Please remember they are not dogs or cats but are farm animals. Farm animals do their own thing.

Do your goats bite, headbutt or kick?
They have never destroyed anything or headbutted a human. They can nibble at your zippers or buttons. The baby goats may try to suck your finger like a mommy goat teats. We strongly advise you NOT putting your fingers in any goats mouth. Do not allow them to suck your finger this can confuse the baby goats. They really just enjoy to being pet and cuddled.
